Electromagnetic Body Sculpting@ InUrSkn

What is
Electromagnetic Body Sculpting

Electromagnetic Body Sculpting is a procedure that uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy to target both fat cells and muscle mass in the treatment area. This results in fat reduction along with increased muscle mass.

This procedure is ideal for individuals seeking improved body definition rather than just fat loss. Candidates best suited for this treatment typically have a BMI below 35, indicating they are mildly overweight or mildly obese.

Electromagnetic Body Sculpting is an extremely safe, non-invasive procedure with zero downtime, and it can yield results in just four sessions over two weeks. On average, patients may gain about 10–15% in muscle mass and experience a 15–20% reduction in fat.

This procedure is also known by various names, including electromagnetic sculpting, electromagnetic contouring, magnetic body sculpting, electromagnetic muscle shaping, and electromagnetic muscle toning.

Who Should Choose
Electromagnetic Muscle Sculpting?

Electromagnetic Body Sculpting is intended for generally healthy individuals with a BMI below 35 (moderately obese individuals can also benefit from this procedure). It is designed for those seeking to reduce stubborn fat in targeted areas or enhance muscle definition in specific regions.

The areas of the body suitable for Electromagnetic Body Sculpting include:

It is also important to have realistic expectations for this procedure. Electromagnetic Body Sculpting is not a substitute for healthy lifestyle choices like regular exercise and a balanced diet. Additionally, this procedure does not support weight loss; it specifically aids in fat reduction, inch loss, and muscle gain.

1. Core Abdomen Muscles strengthening can help

a. Reduce backaches
b. Improve body stability and balance
c. Improve posture

2. Pelvic Floor Muscles Strengthening can help

a. Reduce excretion incontinence
b. Improve sexual function

What is the working principle of
Electromagnetic Body Sculpting

When the Electromagnetic Body Sculpting paddles are placed in contact with the treatment area and energy is delivered, it causes supramaximal contraction of the muscles, meaning that 100% of the muscle fibres are activated (in comparison, normal activities and exercises do not activate even 50% of the target muscle mass).

This process of muscle stimulation is performed extremely rapidly—about 10 to 12 times per second, or approximately 20,000 contractions in 30 minutes. The rapid muscle activation releases a chemical that signals the breakdown of fat cells into free lipids, which are then disposed of by the body through the lymphatic system. Additionally, the activation of the lymphatic system helps to remove lactic acid generated from cellular breakdown, preventing muscle cramping.

Both the fat-burning and muscle activation processes cause the treatment area to tighten and the muscles to build up. This is, of course, a gradual process, with optimal results appearing over the following weeks.

Know More About
Electromagnetic Body Sculpting

The process of Electromagnetic Body Sculpting is as follows:

  1. After a detailed discussion with Dr. Sejal, the exact muscles to be treated are determined.
  2. A belt is used to hold the Electromagnetic Sculpting machine paddles in direct contact with the treatment area.
  3. The Electromagnetic Sculpting machine is set to the appropriate intensity and duration, and the process is started.
  4. The treatment lasts for approximately 30 minutes.

During the Electromagnetic Body Sculpting process, your muscles contract and relax at a very rapid pace, which most people find to be a strange sensation. That said, Electromagnetic Body Sculpting is a non-invasive and extremely safe procedure with no reported adverse effects.

With each session, as the patient becomes accustomed to the contractions, the intensity of the machine is gradually increased toward 100% power.

Here are a few advisory points to follow before the procedure:

  • Avoid eating for at least one hour before the treatment.
  • Wear comfortable clothing to allow direct access to the treatment area.

There are no cautionary points after the treatment. You can resume routine activities immediately afterward.

For optimum results, at least four sessions of Electromagnetic Body Sculpting are recommended for the target muscle area. Sessions can be scheduled 2 to 3 days apart over a period of two weeks.

The best results are typically observed around 4 weeks after the final treatment, once the body has disposed of most of the destroyed fat cells.

Results can be seen as a reduction in local stubborn fat, with the treated area becoming tighter and showing associated muscle gain.

As mentioned earlier, Electromagnetic Body Sculpting should be paired with a proper exercise regimen and diet for the best results.

3D HIFU for Body Skin Tightening

3D HIFU is a process in which a specialized HIFU probe suitable for treatment of larger body areas is used to focus ultrasound energy on the deep dermal layer and Superficial Muscular Aponeurotic System (SMAS) tissue of the skin. This stimulates collagen and elastin production thereby improving the skin’s elasticity and tightening the sagging skin.

Cryo Fat Reduction

Cryolipolysis is the procedure in which a cryo machine is used to cool the adipose tissue containing fat cells to a sub zero temperature. AS a result of this cooling the fat cells are destroyed and start being discarded by the body through its lymphatic system over the next 4 to 8 weeks.

Liposonic Fat Reduction

Ultrasonic Lipolysis is a technology which uses, High Intensity Focused Ultrasound to target and destroy subcutaneous fat cells. Such HIFU energy is able to penetrate and affect only the deeper layers of the skin without affecting the superficial layers in any way.

Frequently Asked Questions

Electromagnetic Body Sculpting is a non invasive localized therapy. It has no known reported adverse reactions and is widely used. One can experience limited side effects like:

1. Redness and mild swelling in the treated area, which resolves itself in 24 hours
2. Feeling of tiredness or being excessively thirsty for 24 hours
3. Bloating in the treated area, which automatically settles in 48 hours.

Yes. The results of electromagnetic body sculpting are permanent, provided that one follows a regular diet and exercise regimen and does not depend on electromagnetic sculpting alone for muscle toning. Any negative changes in diet like eating excessive fatty foods or high calorie foods adversely affects electromagnetic sculpting results, as does lack of exercise.

Coolsculpting targets only fat loss by cooling the fat below sub zero temperatures. Meanwhile electromagnetic sculpting addresses concerns about muscle strengthening with fat loss being more of an incidental gain. Cryolipolysis is more suitable for individuals with high BMI while electromagnetic sculpting is for individuals with generally healthy BMI levels.

Electromagnetic Sculpting has universal appeal, but certain people should not engage in it:
1. People with high BMI (greater than 35)
2. People with unrealistic expectations
3. People with metallic or electronic implants like copper t, orthopedic supports, pace makers etc.
4. Pregnant women

Electromagnetic Body Sculpting is done for the purpose of gaining muscle mass and reducing fat. It has practically no effect on the body weight of individuals. This is because fat is extremely volumetric and bulky as compared to muscles. That is, fat takes up a lot of space but weighs very little. So even if a lot of fat is eliminated you will see a substantial reduction in size (inch loss) but not adequate reduction in body weight. Also the action of electromagnetic sculpting helps gain muscle mass and may actually increase weight because of the same.
